Calculator data

The pay calculator runs entirely in your browser. No salary figures, personal allowances, tax codes, or any other inputs you enter are transmitted to our servers or stored anywhere. All calculations happen locally on your device.

Cookies and analytics

This site uses the following third-party services that set cookies and collect anonymised usage data:

• Google Analytics — tracks aggregate page views, session duration, and traffic sources. IP addresses are anonymised. No personally identifiable information is collected.
• Google AdSense — serves adverts on this site. Google may use cookies to show ads relevant to your interests based on prior visits to other sites. You can opt out at google.com/settings/ads.

Email subscriptions

If you sign up for pay award notifications, we store your email address and the timestamp of your consent using Resend (resend.com), a US-based email service provider. Resend is compliant with GDPR standard contractual clauses.

We will only email you about police pay updates. We will never:

• Send marketing unrelated to police pay
• Sell or share your email address with third parties
• Pass your data to advertisers

You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send. To request deletion of your data, email policetakehomepay@gmail.com.

Some links on this site — particularly for mortgage services — are affiliate links. These are clearly labelled. If you click one and make a purchase or enquiry, we may receive a commission from the third party. This does not affect the price you pay. We only link to services we consider relevant and useful.

This site links to external websites including gov.uk, HMRC, the Police Federation, and Police Professional. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those sites.
