Calculator data

The pay calculator runs entirely in your browser. No salary figures, personal allowances, tax codes, or any other inputs you enter are transmitted to our servers or stored anywhere. All calculations happen locally on your device.

Cookies and analytics

This site uses the following third-party services that set cookies and collect anonymised usage data:

• Google Analytics — tracks aggregate page views, session duration, and traffic sources. IP addresses are anonymised. No personally identifiable information is collected.

We do not serve adverts and do not use advertising cookies. If you block cookies using a browser privacy setting, the calculator continues to work normally.

Email subscriptions

If you sign up for pay award notifications, we store your email address and the timestamp of your consent using beehiiv (beehiiv.com), a US-based email platform, which sends you a confirmation email before adding you to the list. beehiiv is compliant with GDPR standard contractual clauses.

We will only email you about police pay updates. We will never:

• Send marketing unrelated to police pay
• Sell or share your email address with third parties
• Pass your data to advertisers

You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send. To request deletion of your data, email policetakehomepay@gmail.com.

This site links to external websites including gov.uk, HMRC, the Police Federation, and Police Professional. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those sites.
